Ginny Keely, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT
Ginny joined RPT as a staff Physical Therapist in 2005, having previously worked with Mitch Ronning in our early professional careers. She earned her Doctorate in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy in 2012, Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Duke University in 1990, have been Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and is a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. She provides detailed assessments of primarily orthopedic injuries and dysfunction, but most enjoys the foot and ankle, especially in the context of the entire system and how it works together to result in specific stresses or injury. Prior to returning to her central coast roots, she spent 11 years as full-time orthopedic faculty at Texas State University where she also served as admissions director.
Ginny spends most of her non-working hours on a bike, and in 2023 became the 6th woman to complete the climb to the summit of Mauna Kea starting from Waikoloa Beach, on the Big Island. It’s known as the hardest uphill ride in the world, climbing more than 14,000 feet in 56 miles. Other, admittedly less challenging feats, are on the horizon. She also enjoys exploring our beautiful central coast, hiking, playing guitar, and spending time with her family and my little toy poodle, Luca.
Ginny enjoyed being a part of the amazing RPT team and serving the local community for over 19 years. Give us a call to see if we would be a good fit for you and your goals!
